Great units, affordable pricing and HOA fee&#8217;s are going to make this building a hit - just my guess!  The negative is the parking as you need to park in the Center Village parking ramp for $125 dollars a month.  Cool rooftop as well with exercise facilities underground.<br />
I give it a B+!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As I look through the Minneapolis MLS listings in 302 MLS code in Downtown Minneapolis, I&#8217;m starting to feel like the nice inventory is really drying up, at least at realistic pricing.  One thing listing agents in Downtown Minneapolis need to think about before listing a Minneapolis condo for sale is that it will need to appraise for the sales price.  If the buyer is not a cash buyer for a loft in Minneapolis, good luck on this transaction actually closing.  It won&#8217;t happen!  We all want to get the best price possible for our buyers in this market and I understand that selling agents are doing the same for their sellers interest.  But why put a <a href="http://www.cityoflofts.com" target="_blank">Minneapolis condo</a> on the market if its a transaction that has no possible way of closing?  Let me know and it will save me a lot of time showing properties in Downtown Minneapolis.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m intrigued to see how the auction at <a href="http://www.cityoflofts.com/properties/downtown_district" target="_blank">Skyscape condos </a>in Minneapolis plays out in the coming weeks.  The opening prices are fantastic and I expect a lot of inventory to disappear at Skyscape with the starting bids being at nearly 50% off the original pricing.  The penthouse unit on the market is sweet, my favorite floor plan for an amazing deal (at least at the starting bid!).  Now this is a project and a deal where the appraisal will be no issue for the Minneapolis urban condo buyer!</p>

<p>I was invited into venturing out on a chilly snowy evening in Minneapolis for some food and fun and an establishment I had yet to check out.  Good thing I didn&#8217;t flake out like I&#8217;ve been know to as Haute Dish proved worthy of Minneapolis&#8217;s new place to be seen and eat REALLY good food.  I was pleasantly welcomed as I walked through the door and was told a 20 minute wait, no big deal as I&#8217;m use to waiting 2 hours at Bar La Grassa!  I sipped on a Minnesota Mule which consisted of Minnesota Organic Vodka, fresh lime juice and Ginger beer to top it off.  Interesting and powerful, I was now warmed up for some great Minneapolis food which I had so much about.</p>
<p>Ok, dinner was AMAZING! I sampled the tator tot hotdish, the tuna casserole and the steak and eggs.  All were delicious and served with proper timing.  We had room enough for some carrot cake which I highly recommend. Ok, quit reading this and go sample what I did at HauteDish and then email me a tip.  Heck, I even the ran into the singer of local band favorites SWAG enjoying some fine cuisine!  CHEERS ~ Ben</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>  Looks like the market Downtown has been heating up as I noticed 4 or 5 agents around my loft at the International Market Square Lofts.  No doubt their was a slowdown after the first time home buyer credits expired this past summer, however I think we are seeing buyers come back into the marketplace with interest rates hovering around ridiculous for the past few months.  A great deal on a Minneapolis foreclosure will be had at Skyscape condos as a corner unit just came on the market and will go pending within days.  If the Minneapolis loft is priced accordingly and in good shape, its still a good recipe for a sale to happen within 60 days.  </p>

<p>On May 20, Bankrate.com, known for its accurate reporting of average national mortgage rates, reported the lowest <a href="http://www.bankrate.com/finance/mortgages/mortgage-rates-plunge-to-all-time-low.aspx" target="_blank">30-year fixed-rate mortgage</a> in almost 25 years. At the time of the report, national averages hit at 4.96% for a 30-year fixed mortgage, 4.34% for a 15-year fixed and 4.14% for a 5-year ARM (adjustable rate mortgage).</p>
<p>Pessimists vs. Optimists<br />
Pessimists believe that the low mortgage rates won’t affect home sales, because of the large influx of buyers who beat April’s tax credit deadline. In short, their view is that all the eligible homebuyers have already signed closing papers.  They think that a few more buyers may trickle in before the busy season for real estate is over, but their general attitude is that the fat lady has already sung.</p>
<p>Optimists, as usual, have a much brighter <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20004000-503544.html ">point of view about the economy</a>. Banks, they say, are finally letting some of the much-talked-about shadow inventory into the light. Unemployment seems to have slightly reversed, retail sales are up and manufacturing inventories are increasing – all of which indicate a stabilizing economy. Although even optimists aren’t betting on a huge real estate boon, they do point to an uphill trend.</p>

Which are you, an optimist or a pessimist?  And, how can there be such a big difference in <a href="http://money.cnn.com/2010/05/17/real_estate/housing_market_direction/index.htm">real estate market outlook</a> when all the experts are looking at the same information? <p>If the thought of spring cleaning your Minneapolis condo doesn’t bring a smile to your face, you’re not alone.  To help you (and me) get going now, I’ve come up with this short list of the 6 essential, in my opinion, <strong><a href="http://www.listorganizer.com/springcleaning.htm " target="_blank">spring cleaning chores</a></strong>:</p>
<p><strong>1.<span> </span>Store winter clothes:</strong> It’s time to pack away your winter clothes. Coats, sweaters, and your heavy winter clothing need to be inspected, cleaned if needed and packed away.  Don’t skip the step of cleaning, or, when you get your clothes out of storage next fall, you might find that they’ve been damaged beyond repair by insects or set in stains.  Where should you store your clothes?  Somewhere clean, cool, dark and dry.</p>
<p><strong>2.<span> </span>Wash window treatments:</strong> Spring is the perfect time to inspect and clean the window treatments in your Minneapolis condo or loft.  Clean window treatments brighten any room. Wash blinds, launder curtains that are machine washable and send drapes to the dry cleaners. While you’re at it, dust the window casing, wash window sills, and clean any window hardware.  You’ll be surprised at the huge amount of dirt and grime that a thorough window cleaning removes.</p>
<p><strong>3.<span> </span>Clean carpets and upholstery</strong>: Deep clean fabrics that have absorbed a winter&#8217;s worth of dust and germs.  Shampoo your carpets; clean cloth furniture.  Open windows to speed the drying process, which can take a day or more.</p>
<p><strong>4.<span> </span>Wash woodwork, walls, baseboards and cabinets:</strong> Even if your Minneapolis home’s walls don’t look like they need cleaning, they do.  Just enough dust clings to vertical surfaces to warrant a seasonal bath.  Using a sponge and hand dishwashing detergent, wash the surface in sections to make sure you don’t miss a spot.</p>

<p><strong>6.<span> </span>Check your coils: </strong>Caked on dust can cause your refrigerator to overheat, so take the time to clean the condenser coil.   It’s usually found behind the toe grille.  Clean it with a long-handled bottle brush and a vacuum cleaner with an attachment hose.  If the condenser coil is on the back of your refrigerator, carefully pull the fridge out several feet and vacuum thoroughly.</p>
<p>Put on your favorite music and start your spring cleaning.  It’ll be done before you know it.  Then you can relax and enjoy your sparkling clean Minneapolis condo.</p>
