When I bought my first loft back in the summer of 2002, I purchased a loft in the first loft project of its kind called the Lofts at Fillmore. It was a 1930 circa hotel that was rehabbed into a beautiful trendy sanctuary right in the middle of the city. Little did I know, I was on my way to being a loft pioneer as I was one of the original owners of such a space that had become popular throughout New York and Chicago. I thought my loft was the coolest place I had ever seen and could not believe after I closed on it that I was going to be calling this my new home! 2 floors of beaming maple floors, sleek black railings, bright silver exposed ductwork and an enclosed patio that made one pretty cool home office. My English Springer Spaniel Elle also enjoyed this patio area and comfortably made it her space in the loft! Not only did I have a chic pad, I could now walk to all the amenities that an urban core had to offer: art museums, cafes, nightspots, sporting events and concerts. My loft ended up on 2 loft tours through the years which inspired me to take on my 2nd loft project. This loft was very unique in the fact that it had a private entrance with 3 separate floors of living. Each level created its own energy - my office was on the first floor, the 2nd floor was rest and relaxation along with my kitchen, and the top level with gorgeous views of the city was the bedroom area with a small flex space for my music studio!
 
Recently, I jumped head first into the North Loop district of Minneapolis and have purchased 2 lofts in this exciting vibrant warehouse district of Minneapolis. I’m excited to call this home and to bring you knowledge of loft living that I’ve accumulated over the years. Minneapolis and St Paul have many exciting loft projects that I would love to highlight with you!
